Tropical Hot Sauce

This Tropical Hot Sauce is very hot so, be wary of the amount that you take on each bite.

Makes: 1 jar

Prep: 5 mins

Cook: 10 mins

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh pineapple, remove skin, chopped into chunks

2 ripe mangoes, peeled, chopped into chunks

4 scotch bonnet peppers, roughly chopped

1 cup water

Juice of 2 lemons

2 tbsp. brown sugar

½ tsp. allspice

½ tsp. ground cloves

1 tsp. salt

4 tbsp. cider vinegar

Directions:

Place the mango, pineapple and peppers in a food processor and blend until you get a smooth consistency.

Transfer into a saucepan. Add rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.

Pass the sauce through a sieve by pressing it with a wooden ladle.

Transfer the sauce into glass jars. Cover and refrigerate.

Can last for a month.
